Meet our Letting Manager Alex Stacey
1. Tell us where you’re from and what your background is.
I am originally from the West Midlands but moved to Manchester 11 years ago. I’ve always worked in customer-facing roles which I love, as each day is different and I get to meet a wealth of new people. Most recently I held roles in residential lettings in the city centre.
2. What is your role at The Trilogy?
I am the Letting Manager at The Trilogy, so my job is to manage the customer journey from the initial enquiry right through to the collection of keys, and then throughout their tenancy. We strive to offer the best service to our residents so I will be ensuring that they are looked after every step of the way.
3. Tell us about the benefits of build-to-rent and why it’s not the same as private renting?
The main benefit of build-to-rent is the focus on the resident rather than the landlord, which is usually the case in the private rental sector. We will always put the needs of our residents first, and do all we can to ensure they have the best experience living at The Trilogy. In a build-to-rent development, we can place more emphasis on creating a community feel for residents by offering additional amenities for them to enjoy such as an on-site gym, residents lounge and a 24-hour concierge service. We also offer secure, long-term contracts.
4. What makes The Trilogy different to other apartment developments?
For starters, we are one of the only pet-friendly apartment buildings in Manchester City Centre. In addition to this, we have free secure storage for over 200 bikes which is monitored by CCTV, superfast fibre broadband in each apartment, free tea and coffee making facilities for residents, on-site gym and communal garden. Plus, the apartments and all communal areas are finished and well maintained to an exceptionally high standard. Most of all though, I truly believe we have the best on-site team who really care about our residents, and always strive to offer the best customer service.
5. What is your favourite space within The Trilogy?
I would have to say the parcel locker room. It is very high-tech and really makes life easier for our residents (and is great for us to use too!).
6. What can residents expect from life at The Trilogy?
To be looked after, to feel safe, secure and valued, to be part of a great community and to have a variety of on-site social events, and resident discounts available to them.
7. Where are your favourite places to eat and drink in Manchester?
This is a tough one, as there are so many amazing places to eat and drink in Manchester. I do love Asian food, so top of the list for places to eat has to be either Umezushi (a hidden gem at the top of Deansgate) or Tattu. I also love Cottonopolis in the Northern Quarter, both for food and drinks. I still haven’t got round to visiting The Ivy in Spinningfields, but that always has excellent feedback too.
8. What’s on the doorstep of The Trilogy?
You have Cornbrook Metrolink Station just around the corner, offering easy access to lots of different parts of Greater Manchester. It is just a short walk to Deansgate and Castlefield where there are a number of lovely bars and restaurants. There is also a great little place called The Banyan Tree on the same street.
9. What do you love most about the city?
The people; they really are as friendly as you hear. I love the variety of cuisines on offer when dining out and the vibrant music and bar scene too.
